Composting is sometimes overlooked by even the Composable industry. It is equally important to dispose of Compostable Plastics in their desired Composting Conditions. Broadly there are two types of composting conditions.

I. Home Composting

II. Industrial Composting

 

Home Composting (AKA Biodegradable Plastics in India) are plastics that are disintegrated into the environment at normal temperatures without leaving any trace of microplastics. Industrial Composting (AKA Compostable Plastics in India) are plastics that are only disintegrated under moderately high temperatures (58-60℃) by microbes which degrade these plastics into CO2 , Water vapours and other gases.
