Research and Development

We constantly innovate to adapt to the diverse industrial requirements.

Our R&D facility operates under a collaboration with Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT), Islampur, and the project is developed under the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Government of Maharashtra.

This partnership strengthens our capability to develop, test, and validate new compostable formulations and functional packaging grades for real-world applications.

Facility / Equipment Purpose / Capability
20 mm Twin-Screw Extruder Used for compounding and developing new compostable polymer blends and masterbatches. Enables formulation trials at laboratory and pilot scale.
Design & Simulation Software for Screw Geometry Advanced software suite for designing single and twin-screw elements, optimizing mixing, shear, and melt flow behavior for precision processing.
Universal Testing Machine (UTM) Used for measuring tensile strength, elongation, and modulus — ensures every formulation meets mechanical property requirements.
In-house Biodegradation Chamber Custom-built and standardized as per IS 17088 norms for compostability testing. Allows controlled simulation of biodegradation under industrial composting conditions.
German Short-Term VCI Test Setup (TL 8135) Dedicated setup for evaluating VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) performance and efficacy in compostable VCI film and bag grades.
Pilot-scale Film Extrusion Line Enables film and bag sample production for testing seal strength, stretch ratio, and machine compatibility.
